Doula Support

Too often women and families go into their birth experience with the bare minimum. We are here to change that, to provide you with accurate tools on what you need to know, to have the best and most positive birth experience possible. We talk about the anatomy of birth, methods of pain relief, birth options (vaginal, c-section, home birth etc), partnership integration, pelvic floor, breastfeeding, postpartum realities, your birth plan, birth affirmations and more.

What is a Doula?

A Doula is an advocate and guide, trained to assist a birthing person in bringing their precious baby into the world. A doula provides, emotional, physical, and spiritual support, as well as deep education on the body, the birth experience and postpartum realities.

Roles of Service

  • The multitude of weeks that you carry your baby are incredibly transformational on a physical, mental + emotional level. We have created deeply educational classes of birth, designed to accurately and safely take you through the entire journey. We discuss the Anatomy of Birth, Methods of Pain Relief (chemical + natural), Birthing Methods, Partnership Integration, Pelvic Floor Awareness, Breastfeeding, and Postpartum Realities.

  • A huge part of having a positive birth experience is receiving unwavering + educated support. We offer exactly that as you progress in your pregnancy, throughout your entire labor, and into the postpartum experience. We will stand by your side and guide you, your family, and your baby through this sacred passage of life.

  • We offer prenatal yoga therapy to help the pregnant body adapt to its weekly changes. Soft + nurturing practices, carefully curated to each person as a way of powerful physical + spiritual support. Yoga is a beautiful practice of connection and it can be a wonderful source of prenatal bonding between mom + baby.

  • Accurately named the ‘Fourth Trimester’, those vulnerable few months postpartum are full of emotion. A lot of the time it’s a lonely place as most of your healthcare providers don’t need to see you until your 6 week appointment. As a doula we take the fourth trimester as a given part of your pregnancy. Offering specified support to the multi-dimensional changes happening within the family unit.
